Whoa! Two deviations in one day?!? That's crazy talk!
Once more, crappy photos with my phone and my lack of skillz.
This was for the same class as the jellyfish sculpture, but was way easier to make. For one, it's made of wood, and not plaster. So, when having to get rid of excess material, I just had to use a scary saw instead of chiseling like a madwoman for three hours.
and look! There's a detachable piece! OMG! Really, that was just the easiest solution to all the awkward angles. At the end of this, I really hated triangles.
Happily, this project involved color. Naturally, I had to go with purple. Lots of purple.
Oh, I was chiseling like a madwoman. My arm hurt so bad after that, but I did it! The people at my table were not real happy with me, as I kept hitting them with flying bits of plaster.
I know, my phone is surprisingly awesome. I'm a little proud of the thing, now.
