I had just recently reread that book, and when I came across your drawing I had to fav it. Your interpretation of her is sooo good! I especially love the shape of the bells.

I absolutely loved the series. On the bells, I wanted to try and do something a little different, and based upon the description that she kept them in "leather pockets," I thought that an oblong shaped bell would be more comfortable than the wide body style.

I'd like to do some more character sketches, time permitting.

Since rereading all I've been doing are character sketches from the book, but I haven't had any time to make them look finished. I think maybe I'll make some time soon, since I know at least one other person on the internets is doing the same thing. Hope you find time for this as well!
